- Small but okey rooms - Interiors are a bit old, can use a renovation - Good service at the reception. Very friendly. - Not a very nice smelling hotel - Basic Bathroom - Bed okey, but can be cleaner - Pillows are a bit tough. Towels are old. - Hotel seems to need cleaning and upgrade - Located right... more

The UCLA guest house was a very welcome and surprising hotel to stay at. While the room was not the most spacious, the bathroom was ridiculously huge (although we may have been given a handicap room? We couldn't decide). I would have been happy putting a sleeping bag in the bathroom and subletting the room itself to someone else. The... more

PROS: I stayed at this hotel to research at the Young Library and the location was perfect. It was within a 5 min. walk and next to the library is a student eatery & store to buy food and snacks. There is also a campus shuttle to take you around campus and parts of the city. I never used it,... more

For a visit to UCLA, this is the best place to stay. The guest house is inside campus so very convenient. Quiet, safe, central, free internet, breakfast, tea/coffee service, limited free parking, free shuttle bus inside campur and everything a standard hotel will offer. Standard double room is very comfortable, decent size, big screen TV, telephone, very clean and bright... more

Hotel was very nice, lower priced than neighboring hotels, and right on the UCLA campus. Rooms were nice, clean, and very comfortable. One small issue is that the parking lot is not nearly big enough for the hotel and once full, you must pay for parking a block away. If you are not visiting someone at UCLA, this is probably... more

Nice place, simple rooms, but clean. Friendly staff. Free Business Center with internet and printing. Free continental breakfast. I had a nice patio adjacent to my room and the enviorment was quiet. Not a fancy place, but very comfortable and a great value. more

Arriving on a 13 hour flight from Sydney that morning, I was pretty weary when I wandered up to the counter at the UCLA Guest House. I was then told what the traveller always fears - we've had a problem with your booking and couldn't contact you, we can't fit you in here. I'd booked/confirmed from Australia and was planning... more

There is nothing fancy about the UCLA Guest House. The rooms are fairly small and not particularly inspired. However, for $110 a night, you get a clean room, a comfortable bed, a good breakfast, internet access and a location that can't be beat. If you need a place to stay by UCLA and don't want to pay the high prices... more

I stayed at the Guest House for over a week and loved it -- comfortable, clean rooms with large windows and nice furnishings, great breakfast and free gourmet coffee/tea, computers for guest use, free parking and near bus lines to the rest of the city. I priced hotels online, and even stayed for one night at one of the two... more

if you want to stay near westwood/ucla, this place is excellent. it's cheap, it doesn't charge room tax (so what you see is what you're charged). the rooms were small, but mine had a nice view of the bougainvillas climbing on the trellis of this spanish style hotel. it wasn't exceptionally clean (it was perfectly acceptable, just not scrubbed and... more
