We held a small family reunion at Eastholme this summer, with children ranging in age from 7 months to 10 years old. Our children weren't holy terrors by any stretch of the imagination, and behaved quite well for their ages, but we felt very unwelcome here. Cascade is a beautiful mountain town that is close to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. The winding roads to get there was quite an adventure from someone who comes from a flat area with no mountains or bears. The best vacation ever! Cool mountain air, surrounded by pine trees, fantastic views from all around the property. Dinner for two in our cottage was awesome.
