Decided at the last minute to extend our one week condo vacation and had nowhere to sleep so we chose this Travelodge. This is an old hotel in need of serious maintenance and upgrades. We spent two nights with our two kids at this hotel. We rented a room with a small kitchen. Good location and the bathroom is clean (probably refurbished) but the rest is rather poor. The continental breakfast is a joke: only coffee, juice and cereals. And to complete this nice picture, add a few cockroaches found during our last evening....... more

From the moment I stepped in here, I was uncomfortable. NEEDED and received connecting rooms. One was a kitchenette, the other a standard, 2 bed, room. The place is beyond worn out. I go to Clearwater Beach every March for Phillies Spring Training baseball. This year, I stayed at the Travelodge for four nights. Very good location close to the beach. This place is a total dump and should be torn down. Those pictures on the website are deceiving. I bet they were taken decades ago. The elevator was broken, the "heated" pool was ice cold and there was even less hot water in the shower. The continental breakfast sucks. we called in the day before and they told us that our room had and exact view of the beach from our balcony adn had 2 bedroom suite and we have 3 kids a teenager a first grader and a 5 year old. so we we drove 3 hours from home and when we arrived we looked at the building... more

For the price it has a great location! walking distance to everything along the beach. Hotel is directly across the road from the beach. I seen some complaints about no internet, but the fact is Clearater beach has community wifi (wireles internet) either sit on balcony or place your laptop near the patio doors for best reception and bingo! you... more

Hotel was just ok. Needs lots of work, but the location was perfect! The new beach walk runs directly behind the hotel! My room was clean and my needs were met. If you're looking for cheap, clean, and on the beach - this is your place. Don't stay here if you're high maintenance! more
