We just returned from our Key West trip yesterday. I must say that this hotel had everything we needed. Our room was cleaned everyday, in fact the cleaning staff was great and they kept the entire hotel area clean. We had a party of 5 and the suite was roomy and provided ample space. Stayed here July 2008. This is a great hotel. It is well laid out and spacious and the rooms are huge - seperate bedroom with 2 doubles, shower and seperate sink area. The hotel is located on Smathers Beach, which is outside of downtown and near the airport, so you need transportation to get around (more on that later.) We stayed at the Sheraton Suites - Key West, for 2 nights before moving to a "swankier" hotel called "The Reach." We should have stayed at the Sheraton the whole time...it was much better than the hotel we moved to (and paid more for.) This hotel was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. The service was just as awful. The people at the front desk were so rude, that should have been my first sign that something was not right.
