Well, after reading the previous reviews we got worried! We got in contact with the hotel and they assured us that these were very acceptional and that they get few complaints, so we went with it. The hotel staff were helpful and kept in good contact with us, they promised us 4 bedrooms together, facing the pool and this is... more
We had originally placed our reservation online for memorial weekend we were to arrive on May 25th (in which we were told on the 800 hotline) that we can check in at 11:00 a.m. Me and my fiance were traveling with our 2 dogs to celebrate his birthday. Needless to say, we arrived at the hotel at 10.30 a.m. and... more
Oh my. If I didn't have points, I would have stayed elsewhere. Needed one room for the weekend for myself, husband and crawling baby. The room they assigned us was on the 2nd floor in a corner. Before lugging a Pack-n-Play and all our stuff, I decided to go up first and check it out. Dirty? Check. Not what we... more
My husband and I stayed at La Quinta on International Drive April 17 to 20 2008. We checked in quite late so we were expecting it to be somewhat of a ghost town. The attendant was extremely friendly. We had orginally booked a King room, however when we got to the room we were greeted by a strong smoking odor.... more
After a four night cruise we planned on spending a few nights in Orlando to do the parks. I booked this Hotel online through the hotels website. We have stayed at LaQuinta hotels before and have been very happy. This hotel on Jamaican Court was a dump. As we pulled up to the hotel the first thing I noticed the... more
We stayed in this hotel mainly because of its location near International Drive, the happening place in Orlando. It is in Jamaican court, very calm area. Room was normal sized, bathroom was okay, sheets were clean but cocroaches at night! Break fast was complementary but ordinary. There was a woman in the lobby who was promoting some holiday investment, not... more
For our last night in Orlando, we decided to leave our Disney Resort behind and get something more quiet. We made a good deal with the La Quinta Inn on Jamaican Ct., for 89,- + tax. We got a Kingbed, and since it was a room for people with disabilities (it was the only Kingbed left), we had an enormous... more
Stayed for the MLK holiday weekend. Early check in was no problem. My 2 pets was no problem with no extra fees or restraints. Stayed in the Executive room to get the refrigerator (no freezer compartment) and microwave. Free wireless internet was convenient. Heated pool was big and better than most places. Outside pool bar was nice. Hot tub also... more
My family has fallen in love with the La Qunita chain..but having said that, we weren't particularly impressed with this one. The main reason we book this chain is the over the top free breakfasts. However, there are no "make-your-own-waffle" stations here. The pre-packaged danishes/donuts were stale. The hard boiled eggs were left in a crockpot to stay warm...but the... more
