My first time in Chicago and my first time in a 'luxury' (at least compaired to what i'm used to) did not disappoint. From when we checked in until we checked out this hotel was amazing. To begin with, we booked through Hotels.com and got a decent price for St. Patrick's Day weekend. (Sub $1000 for Fri - Tues) Our... more

Just back from a three-night stay at the Fairmont. I was really happy with this hotel. The staff (from the check-in, concierge, wait staff, etc.) are on the ball and do not miss a beat. They seem to know EVERYTHING about Chicago. They were so helpful in booking restaurants, tours etc. The rooms are a very generous size and have... more

I went there for a 4 day conference and loved it. I travel 50% of the time in my job, usually 3-4 star hotels. The location is great, there is a wonderful sushi bar in the lobby, the bartenders were friendly. I would definitely go there again. more

We recently spent 4 nights at The Fairmont and were most impressed with the excellent customer service - the staff were all extremely friendly and most helpful. Our room was recently refurbished and spotless, the bed was really comfortable. Our nightly rate included breakfast which was so well worth it. I definitely would recommend this hotel! more

This was my second stay at the Fairmont. The first visit was during the week for a business event at this hotel, and the second visit was over a weekend for a pleasure trip. The conference facilities and catering were top notch. The lobby was under renovation at the time of my second visit. I did not have a newly... more

This was a great hotel. Full service for a reasonable price ($249/night for me). The room was very nice. I had a 42" LCD in the room which also had a dock/speakers for my iPod. They also had a nice little box that you could use to hook other components to the television if you had brought them. Be sure... more

The Chicago Fairmont was an excellent location for 5 days. It was walking distance to a number of great attractions -- including Millenium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, and is right next to a great city park for young kids. I liked the spa -- I can recommend the Thai Massage that was a cross between a Swedish message... more

I stayed here last summer and thought the Fairmont was excellent in every way - from the decor to service to the rooms, etc. I knew I'd be back and I was a walking advertisement for this hotel. Since then, they've renovated and still are in the process. Along with that comes problems - and I respect that - but... more

hotel rooms were reasonable. Very nice bathrooms with rainshowers. The room was recently painted and the smell was a bit strong. Two important flaws: Paper thin walls - I could literally hear the snoring next door; and hallways were in sad condition. The carpet has seen better days - loose in some spots, multiple paint marks etc. more

My husband had business in Chicago and I tagged along for a 5 night stay at the Fairmont. This was my first visit to Chicago. Upon check in the staff was friendly and attentive. We had a deluxe room on the 10th floor which had views of Millineum Park, observatory and the lake - beautiful! Our room was updated, contemporary,... more
