I booked my reservation through the hotel website and was given a special with a good rate with buffet(2), cocktail(4), and access to the fitness room. Got a good rate theu expedia. We expected a nice room since the hotel is relatively new and was not disappointed. Our room was spacious and clean. The pool was cold even though the temperatures were so hot, luckily the kiddie pool was heated and my daughter is still short enough to enjoy the shallow water at the kiddie pool.... more

This is the first time when being in Las Vegas that I have stayed "off Strip" and with that said I'd much prefer to stay "on Strip". We spend 2 nights at the South Point in September 2008. Let’s start with the good stuff. The rate was about $75, which was quite a bit lower than the major hotels on the Strip (for the days we were there). The room that we had was very spacious and very modern.
