The best thing the Golden Nugget has going for them is the Valet parking crew. These guys were awsome. They hustled like no other. Always asked if we needed directions, had the air running and they were so polite and full of personality. The bartenders should take a lesson from them. Bartenders at the casino bars were stingy on the... more

Upon checking in I inquired about the bonus package that I thought would be given to everyone that checked into the hotel, I was told only people who booked with selected online travel sites were elegible. Other things that were bothersome was having to pay for local calls and also paying to use the computer for travel arrangements. The Golden... more

Our stay at the Golden Nugget was pretty much what we were looking for. It was not perfect but it nice. When we arrived the check in was prompt and the front desk staff were very friendly. Our room was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was probably the best bed we have slept on in a hotel. The pillows... more

We stayed at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, NV. We were told at check in that we had a great view and when we got to our hotel room we realized there was a very large crane in front of our window. The view was of a parking garage and lots of construction. There was construction noises that started... more

I have been to Las Vegas 7 times and The Golden Nugget is one of the hotels that is at the top of my list. We really enjoyed the shark swimming pool. The rooms were very large and nice. Make sure you stay in the north tower if you book there because it is easy access to the lobby and... more

Stayed at the Golden Nugget june 25, 26 and 27. We have been staying at this property at least once a year for the last 10 years. i usually book us in the south tower because it is cheaper and very close to the parking garage. The good was that the pool is a very nice pool though way too... more

We stayed here recently and thought it was one of the best hotels on our holiday. The rooms were large and very comfortable, the reception staff extremely helpful and the pool was sensational (especially the water slide going through the shark tank). The only thing to be wary of is building works going on next door. I believe they are... more

beware, this hotel is not on 'the strip", but in what is called 'historic downtown', there is a bus connection to the strip, (30 minutes on average, with many stops) HINT if you take a cab: ask for a direct ride, else you will be taken up the highway and pay the double), the hotel is good, we booked a... more

We stayed at the Golden Nugget 4 years ago and really enjoyed but we then started staying on the strip. This year we decided to go back to Freemont street because the atmosphere in the casinos there is so much more friendly. We arrived and we given a room which was fine till we were woken up at 2.30am by... more

Brought our family to the Nugget for a four-day getaway in May. We had two upgraded rooms and one of the spa suites. It may seem like a lot to pay for a hotel room, but check out the deal you can get on these suites - I'm pretty sure they are half the price of the suites at the... more
