After a long early evening bus ride from Cairns after a day at Lizard Island, Alison met us at the air strip and even made a late dinner reservation at a local restaurant called Whet. Whet literally kept the restaurant open for us and we thought that the food here was as good as any place we ate. This evening... more

Very nice cabins set at the edge of the rainforest. Close walk to beaches and restaurants. Cabin is nicely decorated with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, and BBQ outside. Very cozy, and also excellent breakfasts every morning. Thanks, Digby and Allison for a great stay. more

My partner and I stayed at the Exotic Fruit Farm in June 2008 - sorry Digby and Alison for taking so long to write a review! This really is a great place to stay. * The cabin is clean, attractive and very comfortable to crash in after a day's sightseeing. Plus you feel like you are in the middle of... more

After finding out about this gem from tripadvisor, I can now personally recommend it. We just returned from a wonderful trip up to Cape Trib and staying here was more of an experience (and a highlight!) than simply a place to rest your head. As other reviewers have already noted: - lush, beautiful, private surroundings in your own cottage (one... more

My husband and I spent 7 glorious days in one of the two beautiful wooden high set cottages at the edge of the rainforest. We would have preferred 7 months. Alison and Digby, the owners, made us really welcome and provided extensive information on the area and some of their favourite things to do. What we did do was spend... more

Sorry Alison and Digby for taking so long to post this review! We stayed in Cape Trib for a short week back in May and this was by far the highlight of our first visit Down Under. After a week in Perth, 4 days in Sydney, what a delight to have booked the rest at the farm! We arrived at... more

We stayed for 4 nights at the Cape Trib Exotic Fruit Farm. It was the highlight of our far North Queensland experience. From start to finish it was fautless. Alison and Digby are warm and welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The accommodation was just what we wanted - a tropical hideaway in... more

This was the most beautiful, friendly, and 'exotic' B&B we have ever stayed in. Everything from the design and quality of the rooms to the surrounding nature was absolutely wonderful. Alison and Digby, the owners, were extremely helpful in planning various tours around Cape Tribulation and provided us every morning with the most delicious selection of rather unusual fruits. We... more

We spent 4 very enjoyable nights here and could have stayed longer had time permitted. There are two cottages, well separated from each other and from the main house. Our cottage was next to a small river that runs through the property that added to the sounds of the rain forest. The cottage was very clean and equiped with everything... more

This superb B&B lies on the edge of the Daintree Rainforest but with beautiful beaches closeby. The accommodation is in a large detached unit built on stilts with a large verandah, lounge with dining area, bedroom & bathroom. It is very environmentally friendly with solar power and its own water supply. Digby and Alison provide a sumptuous breakfast of fresh... more
