The Eastgate Tower is not plush, but it is very effective. We had a double suite, had two queen beds in one room, and twin beds in second bedroom. Two bathrooms, which was a very nice surprise. Just returned today from a four night stay. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. The concierge and front desk staff were very accomodating and helpful. Eastgate Tower is only a 10 minute walk to Grand Central which gets you everywhere in the city. The hotel is surrounded by all kinds of restaurants, delis, and convenience stores. For the $$$, you may not find a better deal in Manhattan. more
