I stayed at the Marriott Atlanta Downtown for an educational program conducted in the hotel. The service was exceptional. I didn't have one complaint about any single staff member over my entire 3 day stay. After check-in, I asked to move my room because of construction going on outside my window and I wanted a balcony and I was immediately... more

I'm surprised to see the unhappy reviews because I've stayed at this Marriott twice now in 2008 for meetings nearby. I thought the service was very good both times, and on my 2nd visit, I was upgraded to a very nice room on the concierge floor. I had room service my first night and lunch in the restaurant on the... more

The hotel was fine, we had a good stay, until we discovered that someone stole my fiancee's ipod and digital camera from our room. The staff had her fill out some forms, but to date we still haven't heard from them. Hopefully we'll hear something eventually, but they've given us no clear idea of what the process or timeline is... more

We stayed for four nights at the Marriott downtown while my hubby attended at huge conference at the GWCC. The place was completely booked, but you couldnt tell it by the service. We used the pool several times. The only thing missing is a hot tub. We did not eat at any of their restaurants or have room service, so... more

This was not only the most horrible Marriot experience but also by far the worse hotel experience I've ever had! The hotel is in need of renovation since dirty carpeting and a horrible odor in the hall and rooms are first impressions. Only one out of three elevators worked causing long lines and irate customers. As a Marriott member, I... more

We chose the Marriott because of the aquarium package. We had never stayed in a Marriott, but I'm a fan now. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Burl, the very nice doorman, got us some late-night reservations and was very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast buffet was included with our package. We found it quite generous and... more

Was here for the March Merchandise Market. You can't be much closer, half a block. Upon arrival the "redcoats" made things easy, check in was a breeze and as a marriott member was "upgraded" to a junior suite. This was not a busy weekend. We went out for dinner, the staff in the lobby told us to have a good... more

This is formerly a Wyndham hotel, our GPS still thought it was. The entrance is pretty small for dropping your car off, we waited a while on the street to be able to pull in. Check in was quick and the staff very friendly and helpful. They said that the rooms were recently refurbished. Ours was very clean and looked... more
