Stayed here over the labor day weekend. Found the staff to be exceptional. Nice location, tho seemed farther from the Atlanta Aquarium than the website listed...(it might be 0.7 miles but seemed much farther when walking, especially over sections of crappy sidewalk, so I don't recommend the walk.) this property rightfully took some grief early on for its disinterested staff and high rates (they aseemed happy having an empty hotel instead of adjusting their rates according to demand...the adjacent B-School maybe set them straight on the basic concept of supply and demand and how it affects pricing). anyway, my parents had a very good stay over the holidays.... more

We were invited to a wedding in Atlanta and this hotel was across the street from where the reception was. We flew into Atlanta airport and thought we would give local train into city a try. our experience here was very positive. this hotel was within a couple blocks walk to several resturants/bars, georgia tech's campus, as well as the north ave marta station. a decent business center and a nice sized fitness room and pool are all on site and the breakfast buffett was reasonable. if you're a sports fan you'll be interested to know... more
