Be careful if you are a woman traveling alone! I dropped my son off for an overnight visit at GA Tech. I chose this hotel because it was close by and I thought the hotel would be safe for me (since I was alone). As I unloaded my suitcases in the hotel's parking garage, I was approached and harrassed by... more

What made this hotel stand out from many others that I've stayed is the staff. They were extremely hospitable, genuinely kind, and helpful. The cuisine in the restaurant was excellent, I had the lunch buffets three times which was consistently very good. The rooms were very clean, spacious and nice. My sister in law is handicapped and the staff really... more

Stayed here over the labor day weekend. Found the staff to be exceptional. Nice location, tho seemed farther from the Atlanta Aquarium than the website listed...(it might be 0.7 miles but seemed much farther when walking, especially over sections of crappy sidewalk, so I don't recommend the walk.) Nice pool and workout room. Found most aspects of the hotel to... more

My stay at the Georgia Tech Hotel was great. The staff was helpful and the room was clean and adequate. I would definitely return to this Hotel in the future. It was two blocks from Peachtree and 10 minutes from all attractions. The Varsity was a few blocks down and we had a great time and meal there. My grandson... more

I stayed here for a single night in April for business. I was visiting Georgia Tech and found this hotel to be apt for my purposes. I had to meet some profs in the computer science dept. and the Klaus Advanced Computing Building (that houses the dept) was very close to the hotel. This was only reason why I chose... more

this property rightfully took some grief early on for its disinterested staff and high rates (they aseemed happy having an empty hotel instead of adjusting their rates according to demand...the adjacent B-School maybe set them straight on the basic concept of supply and demand and how it affects pricing). anyway, my parents had a very good stay over the holidays.... more

We stayed at the GA Tech Hotel and Conference Center on the weekend of 11/17 - 11/19. That was the weekend of the Tech/Duke football game, and we had plans to go to the game and to attend the James Taylor concert at the Fox Theater on Sat. night. My husband is a Tech alumnus, but we had never stayed... more

Thaddeus (sp?) at the front desk was exceptionally wonderful. My last stay at GT Conference Center was in August, but had also stayed there in July 06. Both times the staff was extremely helpful, giving us coupons for an appetizer at a local spot within walking distance. The rooms and grounds were very well kept and comfortable. All in all,... more

We were invited to a wedding in Atlanta and this hotel was across the street from where the reception was. We flew into Atlanta airport and thought we would give local train into city a try. Was about $ 4 for the two of us. Before we got on train, we called hotel to find out what stop they were.... more

our experience here was very positive. this hotel was within a couple blocks walk to several resturants/bars, georgia tech's campus, as well as the north ave marta station. a decent business center and a nice sized fitness room and pool are all on site and the breakfast buffett was reasonable. if you're a sports fan you'll be interested to know... more
