Compared to the former Charlie Trotters in Chicago, restaurants in LA and New York, it's just pretty good. Expensive and a little precious, but just pretty good. For the price you pay, one would expect instant service etc., and it just doesn't happen. Other restaurants were more satisfying, if full of saturated fats (see my review for Pied au Cochon).... more

Possible the best meal I've ever had. Went during my honeymoon and had the tasting menu. Lot's of cutting edge cooking techniques including freeze drying, sous vide, foaming, etc. It's like having an iron chef cooking for you. more

I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was perfect and the food was exceptional. Yes, it is a little pricey - our meal, before tip, was about $160 (4 glasses of wine, 2 entrees and a dessert) - but it's definitely worth it. more
