You can follow the weather and also get a 10 day forcast on www.weather.msn.com or www.weather.yahoo.com .At the moment it is 88-89 degrees and sunny. We had alot of rain a week or so ago. As a tourist you are pretty safe just read about safety tips and you should be fine. Come and have some fun.

Arrived here Monday morning. Nothing but blue skies, no clouds and no rain since. Very hot (obviously) - high 80s. Just checked the CNN weather and it says Acapulco is currently "Partly sunny" but, honestly, I can't see a cloud anywhere!

Who can tell what it will be like in 2 weeks time? If it rains it tends to be for short bursts late afternoon/early evening. It shouldn't interfere with your vacation. Safety isn't an issue in the main tourist areas - just use common sense. It's certainly not as scary as LA :))

not there now but will be soon......zzaa is on vacation in toronto.........but have been talking to my hubby on the phone almost everyday and he has informed me that the rain has stopped.........steve is more updated than me right now.......lol.....zzaa

also planning on going to taxco, can anyone help with the weather there and the temperature

This is the rainy season throughout central MExico: Guadalajara, DF, Cuernavaca, Taxco.

Taxco is cooler than Acapulco, but to get there you will go through Iguala, which is very hot.

But what's currently going on with the weather. Tropical storms?? All I see on the weather channel is constant rain.

Is it raining constantly in Acapulco?

We have had about 2 days of off and on rain!!

Started out cloudy one day and rained hard for a while, then it stopped all day and rained sporatically in different spots in Acapulco.

today was nice and sunny most of day then late afternoon it clouded up and rained again , stopped and right now it is raining lightly.

It is cooling off, not warm but pleasurable and not unbearable rains either..
