We found Julius by reading several reviews on Trip Advisor about the Paradise Neptune Hotel, and we are so glad we did.

We took a three day fly safari to the Masai Mara, staying at the Figtree Camp.

The price Julius gave us was the very best around for a fabulous tented camp complete with four poster beds, and an en suite bathroom, facing a river, what luxury!!

Everything was arranged to the last detail, we stepped out of the Neptune Hotel to be greeted by a smiling Julius who personally took up to the air strip some 15 minutes away. Nothing was too much trouble.

Don't bother even shopping around, he will not be beaten in terms of price, personal service and gives each of his customers 100% of his time and attention.

We especially asked for a geep with large windows rather than the mini busses where you have to look out through the roof, Julius made sure we had everything we asked for.

We emailed Julius before we went and arranged the accommodation we wanted, the price and the day we wanted to start the safari. So when we arrived all we had to do was go and pay for it, which saved precious time when we arrived.

A fantastic safari, one we will remember for the rest of our lives, all thanks to Julius.

We stayed at the Neptune paradise hotel.

We booked a three day safari to the Masai Mara through Julius at jt safari's which is right outside the main gates of the hotel, we had a 5 star service from the beginning and was a lot cheaper than the tour rep's we also booked a wasini island boat trip which was brilliant.

DO NOT be put off by what the tour reps say as they work on commission

when we return to Kenya we will be booking through Julius again for all our excursions

I found Julius safaris through reviews on the internet and found that his office was opposite the Neptune chain of hotels where we were staying. Every review I had read had been positive so I emailed Julius and he replied promptly with details of what we could do and suggested it would be best to discuss more in his office when we arrived. He has two permanent offices in Diani and therefore he is not like the usual beach boys that might take off with your money and you might never see again. When we arrived in his office he had a gift waiting for us and then organised a safari that suited us in Tsavo East. We had the minivan to ourselves at no extra cost which was really good as we didnt feel guilty about stopping for photos. Our holiday operator had quoted up to 8 people being in one van which would in my opinion have ruined the experience. Everything was organised perfectly and we were first out into the park and last back making the most of the time we had. Our driver was very knowledgeable and we both were surprised at how safely he drove. Julius also offered other services to us such as amazing exchange rates, taxis and other excursions. I was doubtful when i first arrived and contemplated booking with our holiday operator but the service we got was nothing short of perfect and the price was unbeatable. We could also see where the money was going and the appreciation from someone like Julius was huge in comparison to a faceless company like Somak. We cant thank him enough and are so excited about coming back to see him again.

Our 8th holiday in Kenya, all included a safari, and this trip organised over a nice cold pint, was by far the best.
the price we paid, was unmatched by other companies, so why waste time getting quotes, just see Julius, trust me, he will not rip you off .
We were picked up from the poor Neptune Paradise Hotel, bang on time, transferred to the Ukundu airstrip, flew to Govenors camp, for a 3 night stay, if you want the best game viewing there is, this is the camp, animals and birds everywhere, plus food not bettered in the UK , and you are in the middle of the masai mara, incredible. Our guide Stephen was fantastic, we asked to see birds as well as mammals, we were not dissapointed, and he knew every species by name, also wildebeest crossing the Mara river, a spectacle not to be missed, he knew where to see the crossing, and when, never witnessed by us before after on all our safari's, experts of the highest quality. On our return flight, we were met by our driver,from JT Safari's, and transferred to our hotel, even after this during the rest of our holiday, Julius took us out in the evenings, try Leonardo's great bar and food, very cheap too, not once did he ask for money, always polite, never any hassling, just a good sound person who does exactly what he says.
We are planning a Tanzania safari with julius for 08 all by Email, couldn't be easier, thanks for all your help Julius.
